Frequently Asked River Rafting Questions

The our normal run on the Kettle River is a 4 mile stretch through Banning State Park. Including the riverside break, the rafting tour is roughly 3 to 3.5 hours.

No previous rafting experience is required. Just show up ready to have fun!

Yes, all of our rafting and kayaking tours include a professional river guid. Our guides have many years of experience and know the river well.

Our shuttle bus will take you to the top of the rapids in Banning State Park and we float to Robinson Park in Sandstone, where the shuttle bus returns everyone to the guide shop.

We run the river trips rain or shine, if the weather is real bad we may postpone the tour for an hour then decide whether to cancel the river tour or go rafting.  Give us a call if you have questions.
  7. HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN EACH RAFT?
We have several different size rafts that are set up for different group sizes, we can accommodate 3 to 8 per raft when the river is “up.”  During the summer months we also run 2 person inflatable kayaks.
